Carnival Breeze Arrives In Miami With A Special Thanksgiving Day Turkey Surprise

Each Thanksgiving Day, all of the maritime lawyers at Lipcon, Margulies, Alsina & Winkleman, P.A. give thanks for our many blessings, including the ability to help those who have been the victims of an accident at sea. This year, there is a lot to be thankful for, especially all the cruise lovers out there. Although cruise lines are notorious for offering special holiday sailings featuring festive music and delicious holiday meals, this year will be extra special for Carnival Cruise Line aficionados. Carnival guests can ring in Thanksgiving 2012 aboard one of the most innovative ships at sea during a special Turkey Day sailing – the Carnival Breeze.

Just in time for the holidays, one of Carnival Cruise Line’s newest vessels has arrived at the Port of Miami. But forget the turkey; Carnival Breeze is stuffed with more fun activities and onboard experiences than ever before. And for those who want to celebrate Thanksgiving aboard the “Fun Ship” with more traditional favorites, don’t worry, there will be plenty of holiday treats for everyone to enjoy.

The newest of the fleet’s Dream Class of ships, Carnival Breeze has just arrived in Miami from the Mediterranean, where it has been sailing all summer long. Fully equipped with Carnival favorites like the all-you-can-eat buffet, casino, massive water slide, and comedy shows – with some nuances including Fun Ship 2.0 novelties like the RedFrog Rum Bar, BlueIguana Cantina and Guy’s Burger Joint, featuring signature burgers by celebrity chef Guy Fieri, the vessel is the largest Carnival ship to homeport in South Florida, with a carrying capacity of 3,500 passengers. Think of all the turkey dinners that will be onboard!

Although the Breeze has been stationed in the Mediterranean for a few months, the ship’s crewmembers are ready and revved up for an American tradition. The Breeze arrived in Miami with a huge turkey in tow and ready to embark on a special two-day Thanksgiving holiday cruise to the Bahamas. The ship will then be offering 6-day and 8-day cruises to the Caribbean beginning in December.

Whether you choose to spend your Thanksgiving Day at sea onboard a cruise line or on land, our maritime lawyers wish you all the best and remind you to stay safe and healthy this holiday season.
